An opportunity to unveil, in an "out of time" visit to closed museums, two of the less well-known sectors to the general public: the Necropolis of the Via Triumphalis and the Pavilion of the Carriages .
A proposal dedicated exclusively to the individual visitor interested in both an individual tour and a group tour in pre-established groups of up to 25 participants.
The visit is conducted by an educational operator authorized by the Vatican City State.
"After Hours" guided tour Necropolis of the Via Triumphalis and Padiglione delle Carrozze: a route that first winds through the "little Pompeii" sepulchral in the Rome of Augustus, to then continue with the precious historical testimony of the papal mobility (carriages, sedans , court suits and pope furniture). The tour does not include access to the other museum sectors and the Sistine Chapel.
N.B. The itinerary and the access to the above mentioned sectors could undergo variations or cancellations due to unexpected activities or events of the Holy See or of the Vatican City State.
The program includes the entrance of the group to the Museums at 4.30 pm, visiting the archaeological site of the Via Triumphalis first. Following the group will enter the Hall of Carriages, following a path that will also allow you to admire the Square Garden from above.
At the end of the visit, around 7.00 pm, the group will leave the Museums, leaving Viale Vaticano.
