Ghosts in Rome
Genti e Paesi has been offering for several years an itinerary on ghosts that has always been very successful in the Roman people and tourists.
The duration of the tour is a nabout 2 hours, includes the appearance of 4 actors along the way who will act related to a characters of personality and sing for a few minutes.
The places where the ghosts will appear are:
Piazza Farnese - Cagliostro
Piazza Giovanni XXIII (Castel Sant'Angelo side) - Beatrice Cenci
Piazza di Pasquino - Pimpaccia
Locanda della Vacca, Corner Piazza Campo dei Fiori - Pope Alexandro VI, or Rodrigo Borgia.
The itineary takes place between: Piazza Navona, Piazza Campo de´ Fiori, Piazza Farnese, Via del Governo Vecchio, the amazing viewpoint of the Ponte degli Angeli, where we hear the footsteps of the unfortunate Beatrice Cenci ecos.
The protagonists of the initiave journey however are not only fountains, churches, and palaces of Baroque Rome but mainly female and male presences full of legends, tragedies, twists and turns that transform the capital of art and culture into a theatrical stage where the appearance of actors evokes unreal atmospheres. The intriguing Pimpaccia, the notorious Alexander VI Borgia, Cagliostro and his wife the seer Lorenza, the haunted building in via del Governo Vecchio constitute the spiritual topography of the Rome of mysteries that is a long history of triumphs and decline, of lights and shadows has delivered to eternal beauty.
