I TRE TENORI

il 29/05/2020

It is the debut of Opera and Lyric at the Sala Umberto Theater in Rome with the three tenors Alessandro Fortunato, Francesco Fortes and Stefano Sorrentino:
the show with a fully booked record from 2016 till today.

THE SHOW
Alessandro Fortunato, Francesco Fortes and Stefano Sorrentino, the performers who have sold out for over 500 shows in Sorrento from 2016 to today, present an unprecedented event on the stage of the Sala Umberto Theater in Rome: "The Three Tenors: Opera Arias , Naples and Songs ". A concert that will surprise the public not only for the amazing artistic and technical value, but also for the perfect understanding between the three young artists. The secret of triumph? Not only the vocal performances and the ability to involve the audience, but above all the inspiration and passion typical of the Neapolitans: «Even before artists - says Sorrentino, Fortes and Fortunato - we are simple young guys who loves contact with the public. And this is really our strength ».

THE PROGRAM
Inspired by the popular structured of the three tenors L. Pavarotti, P. Domingo and J. Carreras, the musical program of the first half ranges from the greatest opera arias by Puccini, Verdi, Donizetti and Leoncavallo to famous songs such as Granada by Agustín Lara. During the second half, we will be brought to the land of Naples with the notes of Di Capua, De Curtis and the other great Neapolitan composers. Along with these, also the interpreters of the Italian song who rise to the honors of the classics. There is Dalla, who left ‘un piezz´ e core´, ("a piece of heart") 'in Naples, as Caruso testifies. There is Modugno with "Nel blu painted in blu". Accompanying the Three Tenors, the Opera and Lyric Orchestra, with the first violin Elvin Dhimitri.

THE ARTISTS
Alessandro Fortunato identify the timbre of his deep and sweet voice, as well as for his remarkable eclecticism: he is in fact a tenor, musician and composer. In constant collaboration with the G. Verdi theater of Salerno, with which he has participated in many opera productions, he has also dedicated his efforts to numerous Italian tours, including that of the Phantom of the Opera directed by André De La Roche, in which he played the leading role. Author of the pop work "Orpheus and Eurydice - Immortal Love", he has shown that he firmly believes in the actuality of the opera genre. The lyric opera, in its own words, "is a magic box that can transport the viewer to unexpected worlds".

Francesco Fortes, since his debut as Calaf in Puccini's Turandot, has identify himself for the exceptional timbre and the incomparable power of his voice, which has led him to perform in the largest opera houses in Italy and abroad, from San Carlo in Naples to the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, in Rome to the Teatro Argentina, the Elysée and the Quirinus, in Russia to the Ufa Opera House, then to Mindelo in the Cape Verde islands, to Kiel in Germany, to Zurich , in London. He tells of having made a dream come true at the beginning of 2019 by bringing Puccini's La Bohème on tour in the most beautiful theaters in Italy. The dream continues with the Turandot tour abroad that will take place in February 2020. It is an honor to have him with us in an absolutely exceptional way in Rome on May 29th. As he himself explains, it is the harmony with the colleagues of the Opera and Lirica ensemble that makes it impossible to give up what will be the real event of the year.

Stefano Sorrentino combines the quality of the voice, the passion and the artistic heritage of his origins in a single great commitment. The brilliant bright timbre, Sorrentino feels he owes it, like a sun that kisses his home-town, Naples. From there, the opera brought him from Italy to Brazil, then to Barcelona for the production of "The Secret Wedding" by Cimarosa. He took the stage in a variety of roles, impersonating Peppe in Pagliacci, Rodolfo in La Bohème, Alfredo in La Traviata, among other roles. In constant collaboration with La Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti and other associations, she maintains an intense concert activity. Elvin Dhimitri, first violin, recognized as an artist who manages to combine passionate energy and intense communication skills, has played the role of first violin of orchestras such as the Bilkent Youth International Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of Rome and Lazio, in addition to having performed within the Symphony Orchestra of the Ente Luglio Musicale Trapanese, the New Scarlatti Symphony Orchestra of Naples and the Tarman Philharmonic of Parma, among others.
