The Antiquarium is located in the picturesque area of the Roman Forum; collection, created in the early twentieth century by Giacomo Boni, found space in the rooms on the ground floor of the cloister of Santa Maria Nova, also known as Santa Francesca Romana.
In the first room are the remains of the funeral necropolis with an outline of the grave to indicate their place within it and the room next to the objects found in children's tombs from the seventh century stand until the eighth century before Christ.
In the third room presents the materials found in the Temple of Vesta, and finally, in the last room some pottery of the oldest buildings in the Forum. |
