I love Lego on display in Rome at Palazzo Bonaparte from 24 December 2019 to 19 April 2020.
Its a game of colors and perspectives, between spectacular dioramas and artistic creations, the exhibition presents in small scale detailed reproductions of fantastic worlds made in dozen of tens square meters with the most famous bricks in the world: from the frenzy of the contemporary city to the legendary adventures of pirates ; from medieval landscapes to the splendors of Ancient Rome in a faithful reproduction of the Forum of Augustus; from the conquest of space, to the suggestive reproduction of an arctic landscape coming to the surprising scenery of Liberation.
From the ideal contemporary city to the legendary adventures of pirates, from medieval landscapes to the splendors of Ancient Rome, children and adults can immerse themselves in the various environments meticulously reconstructed and designed by RomaBrick, one of the oldest LUGs (Lego® User Group) of Europe.
The paintings inspired by the great masterpieces of the history of art reinterpreted and transformed into "lego men" by the artist Stefano Bolcato also peeps, (secretive look) out among the various installations. By combining his passion for LEGO and his art, he creates forms of assembly inspired in particular by the "magnetism" of the portraits.
