Countess Gabriella Spalletti Trivelli purchased land in front of the Quirinale gardens in 1900; in in the following year she built Villa Spalletti Trivelli. Designed by the architect Domenico Avenali, today Villa Spalletti is one of the rare remaining examples of an early twentieth century urban villa. Not only does it have a typical Italian garden, but the villa itself contains many precious works including the very sober woodwork in the library. The gallery is enriched by a large staircase with a marvellous railing with a floral design by Edoardo Gioia. Villa Spalletti Trivelli has retained its air of a fascinatingly elegant and welcoming private home.
With 500 square meters space per floor and its vast garden, an authentic rare treasure in the heart of Rome, the villa offers ample possibilities for receptions, conventions, exhibitions, business and public relations meetings. |
