Located in the former Zoology Institute building, this museum houses interesting collections of
Italian vertebrates and invertebrates, both dehydrated and in liquid. It also keeps study
collections of fishes, amphibians and reptiles. The dehydrated entomological collections
(classified with systematic and geographic criteria) are kept in seven rooms of the former
National Institute of Entomology site (via Catone, 34).
