SOCIUS URBIS WEEK - ITINERE CARD
Presentation
The "Socius Urbis Week - Itinere Card" costs 25.000 Lire and entitles you to visit all the museums and communai archeologica1 areas that have agreements with the Roma Caput Mundi Association. The card offers also other facilities to enjoy in the same city. Designed within the communication project of ROMA CAPUT MUNDI, this new fund raising instrument is a sort of weekly association for tourists and culture lovers who, afier having purchased the card, apart from benefiting from a series of opportunities and advantages, will concur in helping the World Investment Fund ROMA CAPUT MUNDI, managed by FONDICRI. By so doing, they will contribute to add value and preserve the works of Roman art that are part of everybodys patrimony. The ROMA CAPUT MUNDI today known as ONLUS and recognized as Morai Entity of the Interior Ministry, was created in order to attract around Rome citizens and companies worldwide to help preserve and restore its enormous artistie and cultural patrimony.
The card uses the trade-marks of ROMA CAPUT MUNDI and LUPA CAPITOLINA -CITTA DI ROMA (the latter granted by the Comune of Rome).
CARD USAGE
The card is valid starting from the moment it is filled in by the user and lasts for seven days during which it is possible to visit 14 museums and places listed.
The coupons enclosed inside the card entitle the user to free visit to all the museums and places listed. One will also fmd enclosed a brief description of the latter in six languages (Italian, English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese).
The card, furthermore, lists a number of shopping and gastronomic itineraries, that include some restaurants that are important both for culinary suggestions and the unique location. The card holder will receive a warm welcome and an outstanding traetment
The card also offers other facilities, such as the possibility, prior booking, to expert guided tours in the places usually not accessible to the public. One can also rent cars, with or without chauffeur, at special tariffs.
Due to the fact that the "Socius Urbis Week-Itinere Card" is a fund raising instrument for the Roma Caput Mundi Association it also offers tax abatements for those companies who wish to their clients and collaborators.
100.000 copies of the first 1998 edition of the "Socius Urbis Week-Itinere Card" have been issued.
