Claude Monet exhibition in Rome at the Complesso del Vittoriano from 19 October 2017 to 28 January 2018.

Coming to Rome the exhibition dedicated to the great master of Impressionism, a unique opportunity for Admire the most dearest paintings in Monet: over 60 works, including the beautiful water lilies, kept in the house of Giverny until his death and now kept at the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris.

The exhibition, curated by Marianne Mathieu, presents about sixty works by the father of Impressionism, coming from the Musée Marmottan Monet - which in 2016 celebrated the 80 years of life - a testimony to his artistic journey, but above all to the artist himself, These are works that Monet kept in his last residence of Giverny and that his son Michel gave to the museum.

From the first works of art, the famous caricatures of the late 1950s, through the rural and urban landscapes of London, Paris, VĂ©theuil, Pourville, portraits of children, the canvases dedicated to the loveliest flowers of its garden (roses, witches, Agapants) to the disturbing modernity of the weeping willows, the rose boulevard or the Japanese bridge, to get to the monumental Ninfee and Glicini, the exhibition will realize the many facets of his work, returning Monet's artistic wealth.
