Hotel Sole, the oldest in Rome, was built on the ruins of the great Theatre of Pompey, where, it is said, Julius Caesar was assassinated in 44 BC.
In the heart of the city, an area favoured by international tourism, contemporary conveniences meet the memory of a millenary history. Located in the historical centre, just a few metres from Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Farnese and Piazza della Cancelleria, 200 meters from Piazza Navona, 10 minutes from St. Peter’s and the Colosseum, it enjoys an ideal location that allows you to visit the most famous sites of the eternal city on foot. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, WI-FI and satellite TV.
Some overlook the cupolas, the roofs and streets of ancient Rome, others with views over the terraces and the flower-filled gardens where guests can spend memorable days.
