The Nectar of the Gods Wine Tasting Tour begins with a scenic 30-40 minute transfer to the Frascati D.O.C. Region in an air-conditioned vehicle, during which your guide will discuss the significance of the area, which is renowned for its fresh air and wine.
Upon arriving at the Pallavicini Estate, a leisurely walk through the vineyards will explore historical and modern aspects of wine from every angle, from the Ancient Romans to today, from the grape to the glass. The walk stirs orated history with visual example, such as the wine cellars in caverns expanded from 3rd century ruins and the ancient Roman wine presses.
We will then be transferred to the Pallavicini headquarters where, in a comfort of a restored 17th century farmhouse, we will relax with a guided tasting of wines and an olive oil before returning to Rome. |
