The Salesian Generalate has available the "Blessed Michael Rua" Retreat and Holiday House, named "Salesianum", for the organization of meetings, congresses, retreats, days of study, public meetings, etc.

Ample pathways and open spaces guarantee ease of access and parking is free of charge. The entire complex has facilities for the disabled and there is air-conditioning throughout all buildings.

Situated in 34 hectares of natural greenery, the site offers 165 rooms on four floors with 232 beds. All bedrooms are equipped with telephone, connection to the Internet, air-conditioning and private services. The structure also included 4 other meeting rooms with 50 seats each, a bar and a large dining-room.

A large chapel, with the possibility of approaching experienced priests for personal talks, makes the place one perfectly adapted to the spirit.

A room with 150 seats is available, and also a congress hall with 300 seats, equipped with facilities for simultaneous translation, electronic voting, closed circuit TV and teleconferences.

The Salesianum centre also offers varied activities like tennis, basketball, soccer to the guests who may wish to pursue them.

The site is close to important road junctions. It lies alongside the Rome ring-road (G.R.A.) with exit for Via della Pisana (Exit 33 for those approaching from north of Rome; Exit 32 if approaching from south of Rome or Fiumicino. It is a little more than 1 Km. from the motorway for Fiumicino Airport.
