This room holds the paintings of artists from the Bologna and Florence schools (15th - 16th centuries), which reveal the same harmony and precision of forms and places. Most of them are religious paintings, as for example the Blessing Jesus Christ, painted by the Black Friar Bartolomeo (1516) or the Madonna with child in the rose garden, by Francesco Francia (1510), the founder of the Bologna School. |
