Rome: Enogastronomical itinerary

In the late morning arrival at hotel in rome: welcome drink and meeting with our rappresentative who will introduce ourprogram. Guided tour of the "ancient rome": the Colosseum, the Forum, the Campidoglio and visit to the enoteca of Anacleto Bleve with wine tasting and cold typical dishes. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning guided visit of tbe Vatican Museums and S. Peter basilica. Lunch at the restaurant "Taverna del Duca", near Piazza Navona, with tipical roman menu. Afternoon visit of the historical center of Rome: Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Piazza Montecitorio (the parlaiment), Piazza Colonna, with a stop at the famous bar " Tazza d'Oro", to drink the best "espresso" in town. Dinner with music at the "Il Duca" with genuine typical dishes and local wines - overnight at hotel.

Full day excursion to the "Castelli Romani ": Albano (with its beautiful 1ake) and Castel Gandolfo (summer residence of the Pope), Marino with the "mitreo"and Frascati, both famous for their wines. Visit to an enoteca and taste of various wines. Then on to Rocca di Papa and lunch at the restaurant "Le Mimose", with 4 course menu and local wines. In the afternoon walk to tbe lake of Nemi with its beautiful panoramas.
In the evening return to Rome and dinner at tbe restaurant "Assunta": let's discover the pizza and bow to make it: the cook will show us how clever he is in preparing it !!
Theproper wines will be served. After dinner short night tour of Rome and stop by the famous ice cream shop "Giolitti", to taste their famous fresh fruits ice cream.

Morning visit of Via Giulia (with its antiques shops), Piazza Farnese, Campo de Fiori (with its fruit and vegetables market), the synagogue and the jewish quarter, the Gianicolo with its beautiful overlook of Rome. Possibility of visit to a bakery: 60 different kinds of bread and pizza!!!
Lunch at the restaurant "Il Grottino" with the pratical demonstration of  how to prepare a dish.
