Arrival at the hotel in Rieti. Dinner and overnight

Breakfast and full day guided visit of Rieti and surroundings: Piazza Vittorio Emanuele
in the center of the town, the Palazzo del Comune and the Civic Museum, the
Palazzo della Prefettura, the Palazzo Vescovile built in XIII century the cuntury,
the churches of S.Agostino and S. Francesco. Lunch in a typical restaurant with home-made
dishes. In the afternoon proceed on to the Monastry of Fonte Colombo. It stands on a hill of
evergreen oaks, 5 km far from Rieti. S. Francesco lived here for 40 days and had from Jesus
the rules of the order. After that we reach Poggio Bustone for the visit of the Francescan
monastry. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and excursion to the Monte Terminillo, the highest mountain of the Reatini chain,
a famous station for winter sports. Possibility to go for a walk and time free at leisure.
Lunch at a restaurant in the valley. In the afternoon possibility of visit to a local product factory. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at hotel and departure to Cittaducale with its towers and the 1300's walls.
Continue to the Contilia Baths and Antrodoco: visit of the small village, with the church
of S. Maria extra Moenia, the Baptistry, the Tower of Antrodoco. Lunch in a trattoria.
In the afternoon excursion to the Salto lake, with its uncontaminated landascapes.
Stop at a farm to taste the locel products: the truffles and th wine. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Lunch at the Restaurant 'Da Ciccio' wellknown for its typical meals.
End of the tour
