Mountain Guides are active mountaineers and skiers who have passed tests and examinations to became members of the UIAGM (Union of International Mountain Guides Association).
Severe admission standards and highly specialised three-year courses in every alpine ground and mountaineering speciality enable them to offer the best skills in teaching and leading people in the mountains.
In Europe UIAGM guides are the only professionals qualified in leading individuals and groups along mountains routes.

LUCA BUCCIARELLI
Born in 1964 and UIAGM guide from 1987. He lives in the country surrounded by kids (3) and cats (7) near a Mexican hammock and a training climbing wall where he spends a great deal of his time. After an intense mountaineering activity in the western Alps, he went in for free climbing and teaching, snowboarding and canyoning. Author of a climbing guidebook, he also works as a consultant for specialised firms and in the last few years he has managed a "bungee jumping" station. Finally, he is a juggler and a lover of journeys to far and exotic climbing areas.

CRISTIANO DELISI
Born in 1954 and UAIGM guide since 1984. He lives close to the Emperor Hadrian's Villa and has mountains in his genetic code with three other guides, many climbers and the past president of the Rome Alpine Club in his family. Initiated into the mysteries of climbing long ago in 1971, he made first climbs in the Gran Sasso and Mont Blanc ranges. Instructor in the vocational training courses, from 1988 to 1993 he was on the Technical Board of the AGAI (Italian Mountain Guides Association). Lover of the most distant countries, he has worked in Africa, South America and Nepal leading groups on treks and climbs. He is a good amateur photographer and has written articles for mountain and nature magazines. In the last few years he has directed his interest toward more "exploring" and less "sporting" activities. The age, you know...
