OFF TRACK SKIING
THE GREAT SKIING
How many times, after an heavy snowfall, did we feel the desire to glide
with our skis on the virginal white, soft snow covered slopes? But in that
deep white stuff the fear to loose control is strong, we are so stiff and
not at ease, and then, not understanding what's going on, unavoidably we
fall sunk in the cold powder.
It's easier than it seems. A touch of lightness, a pinch of resolution, more softly moving and keeping our weight central the skis begin to float, the rhythm catch us and we enjoy the most exhilarating of the runs.
SKIING SKILLS
Medium level skiers. Able to master red-marked alpine runs. Basic skill to face the easier off-piste runs and mountain skiing tours. |
|
Good skiers. Able to follow black-marked runs confidently. Good for most of our programs. |
|
Very good skiers. Able to ski on steep slopes and in very different snow conditions, off-piste skiing experience. Good for "extreme skiing", steep gullies, long days of off-piste skiing and hard high mountain tours. |
THE DOLOMITES SKI SAFARI
Our idea of a ski safari: one week crossing a whole region and skiing
among some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. A great loop skiing
every day in a different area.
The Dolomites Superski is a vast skiing domain and extends from Val Gardena to Cortina, from S. Pellegrino Pass to Plan de Corones. The most famous runs, the best fresh snow slopes, typical and lonely valleys. 6 days skiing in some of the most beautiful ski areas: the soft Alpe di Siusi, the steep gullies of Sass Pordoi, the fantastic carousel of Passo Sella, the long runs of Passo San Pellegrino, the glacier of Marmolada "the Queen of the Dolomites", the Ski World Cup runs of Alta Badia.
All this without forgoing our comforts: overnights in warm and comfortable huts or in good hotels, taxi and ski-bus transfers and luggage transportation so you will have the freedom to ski with no load.
