The exhibition was created as a tribute to all those who have made big Cinecittà, all working "behind the scenes" and contribute their talents to creating a film.

The exhibition is reproduced as follows: each specific phase of the film, from script to post production, returning to work and craftsmanship of the figures involved in the making of the finished work.

In the room dedicated to the costumes you can admire the talent of designers and tailors, in the living scenery are shown the inventiveness and skill of the designers and craftsmen

The first room is dedicated to the world of set design and is set up as a tooling, place where set designers go to retrieve objects to decorate sets, and partly as a studio, hanging with the preparation of drawings of famous popular scenes.

There are exposed the drawings of the three times Oscar winner Dante Ferretti and others like Giantito Burchiellaro.

The second room is a tribute to the Romes set, the great American series shot in Cinecittà in one of the largest and impressive set built recently, the visitor can visit the open air after continuing his journey to discover the Dream Factory.

The tour continues with a real set that reproduced an eighteenth century atmosphere build to realize the mokumentary POSTproduced by CSC Production which reveals the secrets of Post Production that you will discover in the next room.

The last two rooms enter in the particular world of costume, a very important part of film industry.

The new selection of clothes and accessories was chose to give more emphasis on costume dramas, both Italian and foreign with an overview on historical costumes from ancient Rome until 1900.

All the exposed clothes had been worn by famous actors and actresses such as Monica Bellucci in The Brothers Grimm Terry Gilliam (2005) produced by the Oscar winner Gabriella Pescucci and Carlo Poggioli, or the dresses of Sophia Loren in the role of Isabella Candeloro en Érase una vez por Francesco Rosi (1967), or the even one worn by Cameron Diaz in the role of Jenny Everdeane in Gangs of New York de Martin Scorsese (2002).

Also in this exhibition we can find clothes used for the films of Fellini, in honor of the special relationship that has always had with Cinecittà, this fall will be an exhibition dedicated to the director.
